Szia all! (Szia is an informal greeting in Hungarian, used for both “hello” and “goodbye”. I’ve been studying!)
It’s exciting for me to write this after having so many encouraging meetings with people, sharing about Hungary and seeing the excitement spread, so:
THANK YOU!

To each and every one of you reading this! As an introvert this process of meeting with people was daunting at first, but I can honestly say it has been beyond encouraging to have genuine conversations with people and see the ways God is working in other's lives. As I write I'm about 20% funded, which is great but there is still room for God to work! This past month Daniel was back here in Indiana for a visit and we packed the time together with just about everything we could. We attended two weddings, did plenty of planning for our own wedding, had some meetings at OMS Headquarters, met with a number of new ministry partners, spent time with family, and even made some strange culinary creations.
While Daniel was here it was wonderful to be able to talk in person and not just via video chat on a phone. One of the things we found ourselves talking about quite a bit was prayer. A huge part of my call to Hungary was realizing I can’t do anything worthwhile on my own; I am fully dependent on God to work in and through me to accomplish anything. And because of that, my prayer life is stronger than it’s ever been as I look to Him throughout each day. But even then I realize I don’t fully understand prayer and I still find myself doubting God’s abilities. Which sounds crazy even as I write it, but it’s true!
Looking forward, I will be traveling to Hungary in the middle of October to participate in the Hungary Team Retreat. I’m excited to be together with the team as a whole, especially with the growth the team has experienced just since I was there last Christmas, with 5 new members!

Prayer Requests:
Continued strength and boldness in ministry partner development
Safe travels to Budapest in October and a productive time with the team
English Klub started again September 21, pray for the students hearts and ears to be open to hear the gospel
Smooth transition from working at Coffeehouse Five to full-time Hungarian ministry
